Your pre-tax dollars go about 30% further.*
HSA and FSA accounts let you set aside money before it's taxed and spend it on qualified health expenses — products used to treat, mitigate, or prevent a medical condition.
Because that income was never taxed, every dollar in your account goes further. Spending $180 in pre-tax funds is roughly equivalent to spending $126 in after-tax money for the average customer.

What makes us different
Most running shoes make you choose between cushion and toe room. Veloci gives you both — with a familiar 10mm drop so there's no adjustment period.

Responsive Cushioning
Lightweight foam designed to soften impact while keeping the ride smooth and energetic.

Naturally-Shaped Toe Box
Extra room where your foot is widest, so your toes can splay naturally without losing a secure fit.

10mm Heel Drop
A familiar, supportive geometry that helps reduce lower-leg strain and makes the ride feel easy to trust.

Secure Heel Fit
A stable, held-in rearfoot feel that helps keep the shoe comfortable and confident through daily miles.

The Ascent is a great shoe that proves you don't need to be a big player to create a model that feels comfortable and accomplished.

The Ascent is a testament to Veloci's meticulous approach and is a shoe a lot of runners could find a use for

Why runners switch to Veloci.
"I am a two-time full Ironman finisher. Somehow this no-name company has beat out Hoka. They are light as a feather, stiff enough to protect, have the drop to take strain off the calf, and have a wide toe box which Hoka does NOT have. The best running shoe I have ever worn."
Who is Truemed?
Truemed partners with health and wellness brands like Veloci to let qualified customers use pre-tax HSA/FSA funds on products that support their health. Their network of licensed medical practitioners reviews each request and issues a Letter of Medical Necessity to customers who qualify.

HSA/FSA questions, answered.
What is an HSA/FSA account?
Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) are tax-free accounts that can be used to pay for qualified health expenses, up to limits set by the IRS. They're usually set up through your employer and managed by a plan administrator. HSAs are savings accounts linked to high-deductible health plans and roll over year to year; FSAs are typically offered through employers and usually reset each year — so it's worth using your balance before it expires.
Are Veloci shoes automatically HSA/FSA eligible?
Not automatically. Running shoes become eligible when a licensed provider determines they're medically necessary for you — for example, to help manage or prevent conditions like plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendonitis, joint pain, or to support an exercise plan for a chronic condition. Truemed's health assessment at checkout is how that determination is made. If you qualify, you receive a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN).
How do I qualify to use my HSA/FSA funds through Truemed?
- At checkout, select the Truemed – Pay with HSA/FSA option (in Shop Pay, choose "Pay another way" or "More payment options").
- Complete a short health intake survey about treating, mitigating, or preventing a health condition.
- Enter your payment details — your HSA/FSA card or a regular credit/debit card.
- If approved, a licensed provider issues your Letter of Medical Necessity by email, typically within a day or two.
If your request isn't approved, you can cancel your order before delivery for a full refund.
What if I don't have my HSA/FSA card handy?
No problem. Pay with a regular credit or debit card through Truemed. If you qualify, you'll receive your Letter of Medical Necessity, and you can submit it along with your Veloci receipt to your HSA/FSA plan administrator for reimbursement.
Can I still use Truemed if I don't have enough HSA/FSA funds?
Yes. Pay with a credit or debit card through Truemed, then submit a reimbursement request to your plan administrator for up to the amount available in your account. Note that payments can't be split between an HSA/FSA card and a credit/debit card.
Can I apply HSA/FSA funds to a past Veloci purchase?
No. HSA/FSA funds can't be applied retroactively to a previous Veloci order. Eligibility is determined at checkout for each new purchase.
Can I get a Letter of Medical Necessity from my own doctor instead?
Yes. Any medical practitioner can issue a Letter of Medical Necessity to a patient who meets the IRS requirements for using HSA/FSA funds on health and wellness purchases. You'd then pay with your HSA/FSA card directly, or submit the letter and receipt to your plan for reimbursement.
Can I combine HSA/FSA with discounts or cashback?
For compliance reasons, purchases made with HSA/FSA funds aren't eligible for cashback or rebate offers, whether you pay with your HSA/FSA card directly or get reimbursed later. Because these accounts use pre-tax dollars, stacking a cashback reward on top would be considered "double dipping" under IRS rules.
Do free shipping and free 30-day returns still apply?
Yes. Every Veloci order ships free and comes with free 30-day returns, including orders placed through Truemed. If your shoes aren't right, send them back at no cost.
Which Veloci shoes are eligible?
All Veloci running shoes — the Ascent, Mesa, and Featherweight, in men's and women's — can be purchased through Truemed. Choose the shoe that fits how you run: Ascent for neutral daily miles, Mesa for added stability, Featherweight for a lighter, higher-stack ride.
