Industry Expert Review by Run Moore

OUR FAVORITE CUSTOMER REVIEW

"I am a two-time full Ironman finisher. Somehow this no-name company has beat out Hoka. The shoes have a combination of features I have never seen combined:

  1. They are light as a feather
  2. They are stiff enough to protect (helps too with plantar fasciitis)
  3. They have the drop that Hoka and others have to take strain off the calf
  4. They have a wide toe box, which Hoka imo (and so many others) do NOT have.
  5. The insole it comes with actually is comfortable

I was blown away by the best running shoe I have ever worn. Thanks Veloci.

Good Shoe

I’ve run about 40 miles so far in this shoe. I have so far been very pleased with the outcome. It’s not my go to shoe only be cause I need something that will allow me to run intervals on or off the track with a little more return from my ground strike. As a mileage grinder or recovery shoe this shoe ranks with the best!

Still testing them out

I've ran 3 5K's in these and so far, they are feeling pretty good, but I feel I'm still trying them out. After having my left Achilles torn, twice, and having 2 surgeries and several months of PT, I started running again last year. I've gone through several of the top running shoe brands, but as far as I know, none truly offer a stack as high as these (10mm) along with a wide toe box. Those 2 things are the best of both worlds for me and my feet. I absolutely love the cushion and ability to spread my toes. My only complaints on these so far seems to be the quality. As soon as I unpacked these shoes and tried them on, I noticed the tongue and shoelaces seemed very cheap feeling. When I tie the shoes tight, I can feel it pressing through the tongue which makes it a bit uncomfortable. I've never had that issue with other shoes. I'm not the biggest fan of the look of them either, but at this point, I prefer comfort over style. I'll keep trying them out and hope for the best.

I love how light weight and comfortable they are. I would like to see more color options!

Width

The shoes look awesome, the softness on each strike is awesome too. The quality of the shoe feels as advertised as well. My biggest issue is the width and the advertised “wide toe box” of the shoe. I have wide feet and over pronate quite a bit, so I slide my own insoles in all of my running / hiking shoes. I bought the shoes, because they say they have a wide toe box. Well, they don’t! During interval training (400, 800, 1 mile intervals) and long runs I feel the lack of room for my foot and the pain sets in around my forefoot and mid foot. I’m very disappointed in the fit and I already wore them outside, I’m afraid I am outside the return policy for that. If you have true wide foot, I’d be really cautious about buying this shoe.
