"I am a two-time full Ironman finisher. Somehow this no-name company has beat out Hoka. The shoes have a combination of features I have never seen combined:

They are light as a feather
They are stiff enough to protect (helps too with plantar fasciitis)
They have the drop that Hoka and others have to take strain off the calf
They have a wide toe box, which Hoka imo (and so many others) do NOT have.
The insole it comes with actually is comfortable

My first run after recovering from my injury was great. I did not have to worry about the pounding from the ground. Since I am turning 65 at the end of the month, I have been concerned about my run recovery. This has been a good feeling.

I had foot surgery four months ago

I had foot surgery four months ago. This was the first shoe I put on my foot. They are so comfortable! I love how tall I feel and how supportive they are. Hope to be running soon!

Veloci Slate Blue Women's

I like the shoes very much. I have lymphedema which causes swelling in my feet and legs, the left more than the right so the shoe on the left foot feels slightly too short, but I think the larger size would be too large for my right foot. The shoes feel cushiony but stable so far.

What Hoka can’t deliver

These shoes are everything I wanted Hoka to be. And I have had many pairs of Holas! But they were always stressing out my Achilles. Veloci has 10mm drop, plus cushioning and a wide toe box. Truly the anti injury workhorse. Ordering my second pair today! For reference: I run 15-20 miles per week and do mostly half’s or shorter. Have high arches, narrow ankles and wide feet. .
