"Half of all runners get hurt every year. I was one of them. So I built the shoe I wanted for myself."

As a former Division I runner, running shoes hurt the front of my feet from the narrow toe boxes of traditional shoes. Barefoot and minimalist shoes offered a more spacious toe box, but left my calves and Achilles aching.

While working in running stores, I saw the same thing every day: people leaving in the best available shoe, but not the right one. So we built the one I’d been looking for, with modern cushioning and support, paired with a toe box shaped the way your foot actually is. We can't wait to hear how you love your pair!

Veloci, you almost have it!

PROS:
1. Wide toe box is great for my Morton’s Neuroma and truly any foot.
2. 10mm drop is perfect for running
3. Cushion is good. (see 3 below).

CONS:
1. The shoe liner is stiff- more like a Vionic shoe versus Hoka/Brooks. I also notice the outside seems to push up which is weird. I’m hoping it forms to my foot after a few more runs.
2. Shoelaces: given these are wide shoes and I have a narrow foot, I need to take the laces to last hard to thread slot to lock my heel in. You would think the shoelaces would be long enough to easily accomplish this. But like most running shoes, hard no.
3. Shoe does feel heavier and stiffer than Brooks, but not oppressively so. I would love for them to shave off some weight.

I’m thrilled to be running again after a few weeks off and hope the Veloci handles long runs well while holding up to consistent miles.

I’d love to have a lower cushion weightlifting shoe that still has a decent drop.

Great for marathon training - no more foot pain!

I run 45-55 miles per week, run 2-3 marathons a year and was experiencing nerve pain in the ball of my foot (mortons nueroma). I tried every shoe under the sun, every insole, metatarsal pads etc, needing natural/wide toe box but wanting responsive shoes for speed sessions and long runs, I couldn't find anything that held off the nerve pain. I've been running in these shoes for 3 weeks now, 40+ miles a week with no pain. Perfect for long runs, good for intervals, a little heavy for speed sessions but ill take it over foot pain! And I like how they look, sometimes wide toe box can look a little clown shoe like, these are not that! Very happy with these shoes!
