The Velocity Ascent is a great running shoe. The upper fits my foot so well I don't even notice that it's there. It's very well cushioned and insulating, but doesn't feel like you're sinking into a thick marshmallow. Great job, guys!
I started running at age 51 and after 20 years of traditional running shoes I developed foot pain from pressure on little toe and across top of foot. I tried wider shoes and even having the shoes stretched. I ordered my first pair of Velocci shoes two weeks ago, at the same time had a corn removed, and I’m now able to resume running pain free . True to size, most comfortable shoes ever, I can run longer, being almost 60, I do have aches and pains, these absorb shock better way less stress on my feet and knees.

I really like the shoes. The wide toe box is very comfortable. Working my way through some tendonitis so just want to get in a few more runs in them. Hope you eventually come out with a trail shoe.

I like the shoes very much. I have lymphedema which causes swelling in my feet and legs, the left more than the right so the shoe on the left foot feels slightly too short, but I think the larger size would be too large for my right foot. The shoes feel cushiony but stable so far.
