"Half of all runners get hurt every year. I was one of them. So I built the shoe I wanted for myself."
As a former Division I runner, running shoes hurt the front of my feet from the narrow toe boxes of traditional shoes. Barefoot and minimalist shoes offered a more spacious toe box, but left my calves and Achilles aching.
While working in running stores, I saw the same thing every day: people leaving in the best available shoe, but not the right one. So we built the one I’d been looking for, with modern cushioning and support, paired with a toe box shaped the way your foot actually is. We can't wait to hear how you love your pair!

Great feel and great look. Love the wide toe box. I had a hip replacement and this has help me in my recovery. It’s my second pair because the style and color.
These shoes provide the perfect level of support and comfort! I've been dealing with some ankle and calf issues and these are the first shoes in a long time that I can go on a mutli-mile run and finish without discomfort. They feel so good, I find myself wearing them even if I know I'm just going to be doing a lot of walking. I was so impressed, I purchased a pair for my daughter. I've got a new favorite running shoe!

My Mesa's are awesome!
I'm in my late 50s and I am not a lifelong runner. I'd been suffering with severe calf and ankle
stiffness during runs and a lot of post run soreness in those areas. I used to have to run 1.5 to 2 miles before my lower leg muscles would finally loosen up a little.
With Mesa's it's a night and day difference. Maybe the first 1/8 of a mile there is a bit of stiffness, but it fades out fast, then the rest of run is great. My longer runs, 10+ miles, are faster now because its easier to maintain and improve my split times without the stiffness and pain.
I was also running with knee compression sleeves and knee high compression socks on every run previously. Since I've been wearing Mesa's I've slowly worked up to 10+ miles runs without knee sleeves or compression socks and I feel great.
These are the best stability shoes overall that I own and I'll definitely get another pair whenever these are worn out.
About the only thing I'd say to improve upon moving forward would be to have more color/design choices and make the laces slightly longer as there isn't a lot left to work with if you use the heel lock eyelets.
The feel and support are spot on, don't change those!
I have been dealing with Insertional Achilles Tendonitis for a few months now. The Mesa has definitely made running alot less painful and it is very comfortable running shoe 👟

good shoe. like the height. shoelaces need to be longer. need more colors. have for a few weeks. Will know if the cushion holds up in a couple months.
I've only had them a bit and overall they are good shoes. Comfy and the toe box is great. I only wish they came in a 14.5 or 15. They are a bit smaller than I was hoping for a size 14.

The heel cup is too narrow but the toe box is comfortable. I normally wear 2E and 4E shoes, guessing this is likely a me-issue and my expectations of a wide toe box having a wider heel.
